What is Lucky Freelancer Coaching all about?

It’s about helping you create the satisfying professional life you really want. It’s about creating multiple streams of income; getting unstuck; getting your book proposal, first draft, or final chapter written; about figuring out what you really need and want to be doing; or just bumping your career skills to the next level.

In one of my seven-week sessions, you’ll be able to focus on the area of your career that you most need to work on, and I’ll be there to encourage, instruct, and to help you be accountable for meeting your goals.

Is it for writers and editors only?

No, it’s for writers, editors, entrepreneurs, and solo-professionals who want to transform an ordinary career into something extraordinary. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a literary or commercial writer, a dentist, or a real-estate agent– the same sound business practices apply to your career. Chances are you also have a potentially profitable project that’s been sitting on your back burner, waiting patiently for you to transform it into an additional income stream. Join me for seven weeks, and I’l help you focus and get it done.

In the 7-Week Intensive program, you’ll participate in 7 group training calls in order to learn the 7 Core Practices and how to apply them to create the Lucky Freelancer balance (more income/less work), then you’ll also have 7 personal coaching calls in which we’ll discuss your career or current project and get it moving in the direction you want to go. You’ll also have access to a special e-mail address so that you can fire off a quick question and get a quick answer if you get stuck. Basically, this seven weeks is about YOU, and helping you accomplish the big things you want to do.

Why work with a coach?

I know that I did. When I started out, I spent years working alone, reading constantly, and learning by trial and error. Going to workshops and conferences was good, but it wasn’t until I started working with a coach– someone who had already been where I wanted to go, and was clearly successful– that my business really took off.

I discovered that working with a coach could drastically shorten the learning curve, and make success happen much, much faster. I could have avoided some of the dead-ends I tried, and been zipping along the expressway to success much sooner if I’d known what an incredible short-cut it was to have a coach — someone who is there to teach, guide, point out the shortcuts, and hold up warning signs!

My coaching practice centers around creating multiple streams of income and implementing the 7 Core Practices of the Lucky Freelancer.
